Red Beach
Licensed for 80 children, the centre has been carefully designed to give children access to a variety of spaces throughout the day. Four separate rooms support smaller group sizes, while shared areas allow children to move, connect and participate in experiences beyond their usual room.
As in a family home, the kitchen and dining area sit at the heart of the centre. Children enjoy their meals together in this dedicated space while our centre chef prepares fresh, nourishing food in front of them. This gives children the opportunity to see, smell and experience food being prepared as a natural part of their day.
Our additional Treetops space provides a dedicated environment for our Moving Smart programme, supporting children’s physical development, coordination and confidence through movement. The space also connects our centre with the wider Red Beach community and is used for a community yoga class for local parents.
Most of our Red Beach teaching team have been with Nurture since the centre opened. This continuity has created a stable, experienced and closely connected team, while allowing children and families to build strong, trusting relationships with familiar teachers.
We have children enrolled from: Red Beach, Silverdale, Hilltop, Orewa, Hibiscus Coast, Whangaparaoa Peninsular, Stanmore Bay, Millwater, Wainui and Hatfields Beach.
